SR

The SR series of steel mill-type lifting magnets are designed specifically for severe mill duty applications, such as heavy drop ball handling, hot crop handling (hot-work construction), slab handling, and slag reclamation. The extra heavy cast steel magnet case, alloy steel lifting chains and quick-disconnect lead assemblies ensure that these magnets remain productive over a long life.

Typical Applications

  • Severe Mill Duty Applications

  • Available for Hot-Work Applications

Lifting Magnet Design Form (Excel from)

Features

  • Aluminum wound coils as standard design

  • Copper wound coils available for hot-work applications and added lifting capacity

  • Optional deep field design

  • Extra-deep field design (SRED), to provide maximum gripping force

  • Heavy cast steel magnet case and alloy steel lifting chains, for maximum productive life

  • Quick-disconnect lead assemblies, to provide speed and ease-of-use

  • 230 VDC standard; special voltages available by request
