A New High Efficiency for Positive Tramp Iron Removal.

Stearns' Ceramic Single-Gap and Double-Gap Plate Magnets economically trap iron particles in any free-flowing materials on conveyors or in chutes, ducts or spouts. Positive tramp iron removal can be obtained by suspending Stearns permanent plate magnets over chutes, spike apron feeders and belt conveyors. For handling a heavy flow at high speeds, the efficient Stearns Ceramic Two-Stage Plate Magnet Separator removes tramp iron from materials conveyed pneumatically or in free-flowing gravity systems.

• Standard construction has raised poles with recessed air gaps; also available with a smooth face, stainless steel poles, tapered stepped poles, one-piece steel face and liquid tight face

• All stainless steel, welded, watertight construction for sanitary requirements

• Ceramic 5 magnets provide separating efficiency far superior to ordinary permanent magnet units.
